Refund policy

At Min cake Studio, every cake is made with care, love, and attention to detail. Because our products are freshly baked and perishable, we have a few important guidelines around returns and refunds.

1. Order Cancellations/Reschedule

  • Cancellations/Reschedule must be made at least 14 days before pickup or delivery for a full refund.
  • Orders cancelled within 7 days before pickup or delivery may be eligible for a partial refund or store credit.
  • 6 days before pickup/delivery, ingredients and work are already underway, so cancellations are non-refundable.
  • Reschedule request within 7 days before pickup or delivery may be accepted  

2. Returns

  • Due to the perishable nature of cakes, we do not accept returns once an order has left our store or been delivered.
  • If there is an issue with your cake at pickup (wrong design, incorrect size, or order mismatch), please let our staff know immediately so we can resolve it on the spot.

3. Refunds & Credits

We offer refunds or credits under the following circumstances:

  • Order Error on our part: If the cake design, size, or flavour does not match your confirmed order.
  • Quality Issue: If the cake is not up to the quality standards we promise (e.g., underbaked, incorrect flavour).
  • Delivery Issue: If your cake arrives late or damaged or affected during local delivery arranged by us, please contact us within 1hour of delivery with photos. We will review the situation and may offer replacement, partial refund, or store credit.

Refunds may be processed as:

  • Full or partial refund back to the original payment method, or
  • Store credit for future purchases, depending on the situation.

4. Customer Responsibility

  • Please ensure all order details are correct at the time of booking (flavour, size, design, date & time).
  • Once the cake has left our store, we are not responsible for damage caused by transport, storage, or handling.

5. Custom & Special Orders

  • Highly detailed/custom designs require significant preparation and are non-refundable once confirmed.
  • We may provide a partial credit at our discretion for future use if there are unforeseen circumstances.

6. Contact Us

If you have any concerns with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup/delivery so we can review and resolve the matter promptly.

 Our goal is always to make your special moments sweeter. If something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to fix it.
